Everything is bigger in Texas. That is true, and the Gaylord Texan fits right in with 1,511 luxury guestrooms and suites. This 4 Star Resort has a great environment for Business, Family, and play. When you pull up to the entrance, everything is so large that you would think that you were staying in your own private city. Why would you want to go anywhere else? Maybe the cost, but you also have to look at all you get for the cost of your room. Not only do you have a beautiful room to stay in but you can also have a view of the incredible atrium for a little bit extra. Trust me, you will be glad that you did. The Atrium at the Gaylord Texan is a good enough reason to stop in. However, if you are around between Memorial Day and Labor Day when the Outdoor Water Park is open you get so much more.
Rooms and Suites
If you are just visiting for a day or two and your family is smaller than 4, you can save some money by staying in one of the standard rooms. More space can be had to accommodate up to 6 guests by staying in and Executive or Deluxe Suite. You also have the option to upgrade to an Atrium view where you can overlook the beauty built under roof at the Gaylord Texan.

Pros:
There are a lot of people who absolutely love the Gaylord Texan but when you read the reviews, it seems as if they might need to work on their Customer service a little. Very few complaints about the rooms or the amenities and about the only time you see anything go wrong is when a problem needs to be resolved. There is a much higher percentage of people who feel it is a much better than average place to stay so odds are you will have a good experience when you are there.
Cons:
Many of the negatives had to do with the additional Resort Fees, Water Park Fees, and Parking so just understand that when you are there, you will have more to pay for than just your room. If you are prepared for the additional expenses beforehand, at least it will not be an unexpected shock at each turn. Gaylord Texan Hot Tub
There are NO in-room Jacuzzi Suites at the Gaylord Texan, but there is an amazing outdoor, heated pool with a hot tub. If you can settle for that, this luxury experience has spa services and amazing accommodations. The Gaylord gives you an upscale, elegant visit while providing great amenities for your entire family. If you simply want a fantastic romantic getaway, it is a great place for this as well. Staying at the Gaylord Texan Resort Grapevine Tx offers guests a huge outdoor, seasonal Water Park. You will also find an Indoor pool and Atrium. It is like no other Resort around the Dallas Texas area.
