The Corner Suites and Sky Rooms are only available through the hotel directly and run approximately $300 to $500 Nightly and there are no other room options here that even come with a tub (they all have modernized glass walk-in showers). If that is not what you are looking for but want a similar option, try the Highland Dallas and ask for the King Bed Superior Suite (it has a Jetted Tub and is a tad lower in cost: $200 to $300 Nightly). This hotel is just 9 miles from the Galleria. An even more affordable option in the same Galleria area would be the Holiday Inn Express Executive King Suite with Whirlpool Tub. This suite only runs around $130 per night depending on time of year and/or day of week. Hopefully that information helps.

In fact you will find a sunken treasure in the “Sky Room” of the hotel. Yes, the tub is sunken. I am pretty sure that there are no other hotels in Dallas offering a sunken tub. They add an upscale, luxurious twist making it sink down into the floor. This hotel does not specifically advertise “Jacuzzi” or “Whirlpool” jets so be aware of that. Typically these tubs are big enough for 2. As I pointed out before there are 3 suites here. The Sky Room provides you with the sunken tub located on the club level. The bathroom haven consists of an upscale feel coupled with dual marble sinks, tiles (pearlized) and dual showerheads. Guests in this suite are given access to the Westin Executive Club Lounge where you will have access to free Wi-Fi, free breakfast, evening drinks (wine/beer) and hors d’oeuvres. You will also have access to a private concierge during breakfast and dinner hours. The chic lighting provides the perfect ambience for a romantic evening. The 36” flat screen HDTV is perfect (with Jack Pack). The Corner Suite gives you the unique walnut sliding pocket door. Enjoy 2 full baths in this one along with glass privacy doors, dual sinks (marble), dual showerheads and the deep depth tub that has elaborate European fixtures. The plush bedding is comfy. The 42” TV is flat panel. The wet bar and spacious living tops it all off. The Luxury Suite comes with a master bedroom with a king size bed. The wet bar is marble. The HDTV is large screen and oversized. The deep depth tub comes with European fixtures as well. Enjoy a vanity (dual marble) and dual style showerheads. While staying in the Luxury Suite at The Westin hotel Galleria Dallas you will get to enjoy the Westin Executive Club Lounge featuring free breakfast and free Wi-Fi. And, like the Sky Room, the private concierge staff during breakfast/dinner. All the suites are pretty spacious. The property as a whole provides you with a smoke free environment. The pool and splash deck reminds you of an oasis and it’s rooftop! Right there on the 4th floor! The flagstone decking is really nice. And, guess what? The cabanas and family beds are FREE. They come complete with cushions, designer style. The draperies (yes, I said draperies) give you added privacy. The poolside refreshment service allows you to not worry about a thing that you may need when getting hungry or thirsty.

Tips and Perks: Before booking the in suite sunken and deep depth tubs at the Westin Galleria Dallas Texas always check with the hotel directly to request a Sky Room with a Sunken Tub or a Corner/Luxury Suite with a deep depth tub as they are limited. For this hotel to be the best 16th hotel to stay in the Dallas area, that’s pretty good out of 186 Dallas hotels. Rooms on the west side of the hotel have the best views. The higher the floor, the better the view. Although no guarantee, if looking to save money ask to be upgraded to an Club Level room, you might be surprised that it may not cost extra. The chic hotel lobby houses the gateway to the Galleria. In the Galleria you will find Saks Fifth Avenue, Louis Vuitton, American Girl Boutique, Gucci and Saks Fifth Avenue to name just a few. Sign up to be a preferred Westin Guest Member before reserving your room so you can get some special perks during your stay. If you are a Starwood Timeshare owner you just might receive a pass to the club floor. The rooms facing the Galleria Mall are quieter and have better views.

Be aware: The Executive Level rooms tend to be hot during the summer. The rooms facing the pool can be noisy. If you have a hard time parking in the hotel parking lot, which tends to happen, keep circling. Someone will eventually leave. Being near the elevators can interrupt your sleep. This hotel is right next to the busy, noisy Dallas toll way. If you stay in a standard type room the staff tends to treat you differently than someone staying in a more expensive room. Corner rooms are spacious but do not have a window seat like some of the others. The lower floors look over the parking lot and overpasses.
